sunday surprise

All the websites were saying small waves for sunday, but for those who were around to witness the swell jump from 2ft in the morning to a pumping 6ft+ by the end of the day were rewarded with some amazing waves.  Everyone was frothing at the bit in the afternoon and so they should have.  The internet can be good and bad, sometimes its best to wing it and see it for yourself rather than going off the morning surf report.  

Samba

I shot something totally different on friday night, a brazilian samba night.  I didn't know what to expect, but in the end I had a ball.

dark day..

I spent all day in the darkroom today, it was my day off, but I have my work in progress next week so I am trying to get as much done as I can.  I have been learning heaps from the darkroom and sometimes quite frustrating how much time you can spend on one print, but it is paying off with how I am starting to produce.  Just a couple of prints I have been working on.

More pinhole

Weekend magic via matchbox special.  10 second exposure.  It's pretty funny when people just stare at you while your taking these photos.  Just looking dumbfounded as I fondle with this little thing all taped up to the shit house.  Lucky to not get too much blur from these onlookers.

Another pinhole shot from my magical matchbox.  Processed another film from it today and it looked pretty sweet, so I will try and at least get one enlarged tomorrow.
